Genshin Impact: Starter Tips

When you reached Adventure Rank 55 or higher, there is nothing much to do except spending your resin, doing your weeklies and dailies, and Abyss, which are repetitive. Which is why a lot of players like me who recently reached AR 57 easily get bored. Although in my case I still haven't reached 100% exploration on my map because well it isn't that fun.
That is why what I mostly do is visit other player's worlds especially players at low AR because higher AR players don't need help anyway.
And most of the time whenever I visit the lower AR players, they will ask me this question.
"I don't know what to do."
"Please guide me."
To save my time on saying the same thing, I thought I'd make this post and share it to others who will ask the same.
Increase you Adventure Rank
It is very to important to increase your Adventure Rank as soon as you can. This enables you to unlock some features of the game, like the Co-op mode at AR16, Spiral Abyss and Battle Pass at AR20, and some Domains at AR22. Some events also requires you to reach a certain Adventure Rank. Therefore it should be your priority when you start the game.
You can increase your rank by doing:
Archon Quests
World Quest
Completing the adventurer's handbook
Spending resin
Opening chests
Unlocking waypoints
Spend your Original Resin
Resin is also an important part of the game. You need resin when you are claiming rewards from ley lines, domains, and bosses. The original resin replenishes every 8 mins. Therefore in a day, you can get 180, however, the maximum amount of resin is 160 only and will not increase any further. Therefore it is important to spend it as soon as you can or condense it and use it later on. Crafting 1 condense resin will require 40 Original Resins. It can only be used on domains and ley lines. You can unlock this feature when you reached level 3 on your Reputation in Liyue.
Sometimes, you will receive fragile resins as a reward. It is advisable not to use it at early stage, and wait until AR45 when you can access the level 90 domains to farm for 5 star artifacts.
Do your dailies
Daily commissions unlock at AR12. Each day you will get 4 commissions, each having 10 Primogems as a reward. Claiming your additional reward from the adventurer's guild will give you another 20 Primogems. Therefore if you do your daily quests, you will get 60 Primogems daily.
Increase your Reputation Level
Increase your Reputation Level to at least 2 and you will unlock bounties. Bounties reset weekly. Every week, you can complete up to 3 bounties. Rewards will depend on its difficulty, ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 Mora.
Elements
There are 7 elements in this game
Pyro - Hydro - Anemo - Electro - Dendro (Currently unrelease) - Cryo - Geo
It is important to know which characters to use against a certain type of enemy or which elemental reaction you need in the battle.
For example, Hydro is more effective against Pyro, Pyro against Cryo, Cryo and Electro against Hydro.
Wishing
There are 3 types of banners in the game.
Limited character banner (limited up to a certain time)
Weapon banner (limited up to a certain time)
Standard banner (permanent)
You need Intertwined Fate to wish on the limited banners while on the standard banner Acquaint Fate is required. When you don't have either of them, you can also use Primogems. Each wish would cost you 160 Primogems. That is why it is important to save them as much as you can and spend it wisely.
How does wishing work?
Well in every 10 wishes, you are guaranteed to get at least one 4 star character or a 4 star weapon.
On a character banner & standard banner, you are guaranteed to get a 5 star when you reach 90 wishes without any single 5 star.
On a weapon banner, you are guaranteed to get a 5 star weapon when you reach 80 wishes without any single weapon.
However there is a thing called 50/50 on a limited character banner and a fate system on weapon banner.
I think I've covered the important parts. There are lots of things I still haven't put in this post but I feel like it might be too overwhelming for beginners. I hope this has been helpful to you.
